PRECEPTORSHIP

IAFN has partnered with Providence Health & Services to offer the Alaska SANE Preceptorship Scholarship Program. This scholarship will allow didactically prepared SANEs the opportunity to obtain clinical experience while being preceptored by an experienced SANE. As a result of this opportunity, there will be increased access to SANEs serving American Indian and Alaska Native victims of sexual assault.
 

Eligibility criteria:

Unencumbered licensure as a Registered or Advanced Practice Nurse; and
Completion of an approved IAFN adult/adolescent SANE didactic training program in the last year; and
Work serving and responding to American Indian and Alaska Native victims of sexual assault.

SANE’s who qualify will be able to participate in up to 4-days of on-site clinical. Scholarships include roundtrip coach airfare/mileage, lodging, M & IE.
